Amplimity’s Men’s RE-SET Program was created in response to the urgent need for culturally safe spaces where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men can reflect, heal, learn about accountability, responsibility, and healthy relationships to feel heard, and begin the journey of change and growth.
We believe healing, accountability, and change must be grounded in cultural safety, guided by community, built on strengths, and centred on each individual’s journey. Too often, men are excluded from the healing process, but we know that when men are supported to transform their behaviour, the ripple effects reach children, families, and the broader community.
This is our Men's business. It's a place to grow, it's a space to connect, rebuild, and RE-SET.

We begin by listening to our men and hearing their experiences, connections, and their community, exploring what accountability truly means in a cultural context. This phase centres self-reflection and acknowledgment.

Using the Safe and Together trauma-informed Model of Change, this core program supports men to understand the impact of their behaviours, develop tools for respectful relationships, identify core values, and embed lasting accountability.

Healing days are held on Country at the Deception Bay Wetlands, a safe space to reflect, restore and listen. Cultural practices guide this part of the journey.
↓
We support men to reconnect with meaningful roles in their community through life skills training, advocacy, secondary case management, employment support, and post service check-ins.
↓
To ensure accountability doesn’t stop at program completion, monthly yarning circles are held. Men keep connected, supported, and visible within their community.

Partnering with Community
We work closely with Cultural Liaison Officers, Local Justice Groups, other support services, and Queensland Police Service (QPS) to ensure safety, risk management, and ongoing collaboration.

Confidentiality First
We maintain strict privacy protocols to protect participants, partners, and the wider community.
↓
Clear Boundaries
Non-engagement or harmful behaviours result in clear exit pathways to prioritise the safety of others.
