Amplimity was born from the hearts and minds of two friends who saw the need for something different, something deeply rooted in community, culture, and care. With lived experience and frontline knowledge, they carried a shared vision to create meaningful change for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families. What started as a late-night yarn became a movement to amplify what already exists in our communities and deliver support that creates lasting impact.
AMPLIFY + COMMUNITY = AMPLIMITY
We dreamed not only of supporting community, but also of creating a workplace where our people could feel safe, valued, and culturally held. A place where staff are proud to work, where voices are heard, and where wellbeing and self-determination are at the centre of how we lead. Amplimity is committed to being more than just an organisation, it's a place where mob can thrive, heal, and lead change from within.
From day one, Amplimity has been shaped by listening to community, to Elders, to workers, and to those who came before us. We believe that real impact is built together. That’s why everything we do is grounded in collaboration, cultural integrity, and a commitment to walk alongside, and not ahead of those we serve. Amplimity is not just ours, it belongs to community and always will.
